Kraken Event Bar

The Kraken event bar is an installation that brings the myth to life, immersing visitors in the dark depths of the ocean, a place where legends become reality. This three-dimensional scenography, inspired by the world of The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, depicts the moment a mythical creature attacks a ship.
The structure consists of two parts: the front bar, designed to resemble the hull of an old ship, and the back bar, where bottles are displayed and brand communication is showcased. This section features a distinctive round window reminiscent of a ship’s porthole and a hooked fishing net, emphasizing the maritime character of the zone. The raw, aged wooden front evokes the feeling of a ship salvaged from the depths, while the illuminated octopus graphic behind it, combined with a screen showing a promotional film, creates a mysterious and immersive atmosphere.
The most distinctive element of the installation is the tentacles—organic, flowing forms made from milled MDF with silicone suction cups cast using 3D printing technology. Their realistic shape gives the impression that the creature is truly emerging from the shadows, enveloping the entire bar.
Altogether, the composition is cohesive and evocative—the simple, functional form of the bar combined with dynamic tentacles creates a visually intriguing effect and gives the space a unique character. It is not just a place to serve rum but a fully immersive experience, where guests witness the Kraken coming to life before their eyes.
