We verify our position in the Ecovadis rating scheme every year. We are very pleased to announce that this year’s assessment allowed us to again obtain the Ecovadis 2023 silver medal. Despite the increased rating requirements compared to last year, we significantly improved our last year’s score. Meeting the high formal requirements allowed us to advance to the group of 7% of all companies as well as the group of 4% of furniture industry companies that received such a high point score in the rating all over the world. We achieved a great score in the overall sustainability assessment of our company, and we made the greatest progress in the areas related to the environment, human rights, labor law and sustainable purchasing.
Ecovadis is a global rating platform that evaluates the activities of companies in terms of their corporate social responsibility. Four areas of business activity are assessed – social, ethical, environmental and supply chain. The assessment is based on international standards for sustainable development: the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the ISO 26000 standard, the CERES action plan and the UN Guidelines, known as the Ruggie Framework, on m . others human rights.
